Registration for the 2012 season will begin Thursday January 19th
for players born in 1994 to 2007. 

Name change for the Rookie Program (players born 2004 to 2007)
to reflect our association with Baseball Canada’s Rally Cap program.
Junior & Senior Rookie will now be known as Junior & Senior Rally Cap.

Modifications to the 2011 Junior Pilot Project – review JR Rally Cap Format

Senior Rally Cap will remain unmodified – review our Operating Rules, Rookie

All Rally Cap players will have the ability to earn their very own Baseball Canada Rally Cap.

Senior Rally Cap Games – Monday & Wednesday; practice day designated by head coach

Hello Baseball Regina Families,

The following is a message from the Regina Baseball Umpires Association (RBUA).

Calvin Toffan has been chosen as the Head Coach for Zone 2 that will participate in the Saskatchewan Summer Games to be held in Meadow Lake from July 29th to August 1st, 2012. Tryouts for Bantam aged players will occur in the spring of 2012.

Midget AAA Head Coach Selections:
    Athletics - Dave Peters
    Mets - Nathan Costron
    Wolfpack - Barry Erickson
AAA Midget Draft will occur early January 2012.

Toffan and Schulz selected by Canadian National Junior Team

Baseball Canada announced the preliminary roster of players that will travel to St. Petersburg, FL in March as part of the Junior National Team’s Spring Training Alumni Week. Additional players could be named to the roster at a later date.  Jager Toffan a member of the Regina Wolfpack and Jordan Schulz of the Regina Athletics were named.

The schedule also features a match-up with the Philadelphia Phillies and two games against the Netherlands who recently captured the IBAF World Cup in Panama. Rounding out the schedule will be a two game set with St. Petersburg Junior College and two games against yet to be determined opponent(s).

Canada defeats USA 2-1 . The gold medal is the first gold won at a major international baseball event at the senior level by a Canadian team. Canada won bronze at the IBAF Baseball World Cup in Panama two weeks ago making this team the most successful in Baseball Canada’s history.

Regina's Dustin Molleken (BlueJays 2001) a member of Team Canada , has won a Bronze medal at the IBAF World Championships. Dustin, age 27, pitches AAA in the Colorado Rockies organization.

Geoff MacDonald (2009) has been selected to attend the Allstar showcase in Sacramento California. The Monterey Peninsula sophomore hit .291 and was 3rd in the conference for homeruns in his freshman year in the Pacific Coast Conference Juco Div 1.
